The TLScontact application procedure, established in conjunction with the Embassy of Belgium in Cairo, aims to provide the best visa application service. Our aim is to help you prepare your visa application and assist the Embassy in processing applications in a timely manner.

Visa processing time

Short stay visa: As a general rule, a decision will be taken by the Embassy or the Aliens Office within 15 days. However, this deadline may be extended up to 30 days and even, exceptionally, 60 days, if a more detailed examination of your application and/or additional documents are required. In that case, your application will be sent to the Aliens Office, which will take the final decision.

Long stay visa: As a general rule, your visa application can be sent by the Embassy to the Aliens Office, which will take the final decision.

 Important notes:

• You may “only” submit your visa application within 90 days before your date of departure.
• Children under twelve years old are not allowed to enter TLScontact center.
